Zanni Turkish Chess

 The mask of the “zanni” has ancient origins dating back to the beginnings of humankind.
Through the centuries changes and we find him with his rough and brutish character in the traditional rural festivals and in the  more sophisticated Masks in which it evolves.
our masks “zanni” are characterized by a long nose,stright or curved
and by different  fancy decorations embelled  with different materials such as gold leaf.

This special zanni has a geometic decoration with black and white chess on the top and on left side, where there is a gold rhombus, while the right size is dark red with a triangle below the eye. this asymetrical decoration makes two different profiles.
