Bautta Gold
The “bautta” was a mask typically used in the past during the Venice Carnival. It consisted of a hood that covered the head to the shoulders, was of silk, and let only the face uncovered.
mask and “bautta” were kept toghether by the hat sayd “tricorno” that usually is no never took off.
This disguise was so usual to be called a dress and make use of at least the mask, became a widespread use of all.
